Garden of My Thoughts: Meditations and Devotions is now available for Purchase

It was a long time coming but better late than never. I cant help but think of my late boss Lee M. Chapman who on more than one occasion asked me to let him release my book under his publishing company but I kept declining because I didn't think it was ready to be released just then. I know that God has His own time frame and He would nudge me in the spirit when the time was right. 

When I felt that tugging in my spirit to stop letting all that he poured into me just sit on a shelf I cam upstairs in my back room office and pulled all that I had written since approximately 2007- 2013. My plans were to release the book in 2013 but then my Dad passed and a lot got put on the back burner because I had to heal and get my thoughts together, two years after his passing my life to a shift yet again and I was almost back to square one trying to figure out which way next. God is good here I am undistracted and peace within and surrounding me what better time to completely focus on doing what I set out to do which is share Hope and the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

My prayer is that your spirit will be stirred by the words written within and it will cause you to think about some things. Jesus' return is close. The Bible says no man knows the exact day and hour but God said there would be signs of when His coming was near. I am nobody's judge, only God is the judger and heart reader of men. I like everyone else had to take a look at my own life and reconfigure some things. We also have to remember that whatever we do we must do it in love. When you love someone you care about their heart, mind, and soul and sometimes you may say things they don't necessarily care to hear but its for their own good if they receive it.

God works with each of us individually. He is the heart changer. It is His word that causes us to be born again and strive to live life in a different way. Through submission, prayer and the studying of the word our lives are transformed but not to look down on someone else and think we are so much better than what they are. God will work with the heart of whomever seeks Him and tries to be obedient to His will and His way so you be kind and be encouraging, patient and understanding remember the positions you have been in that God rescued you from and gave you a whole new mindset.

When I write, the subject of Love comes up a lot. Love is a characteristic that we all need to have. When you care you help not hurt, not deceive and or gossip about others short comings, nor does love delight in evil and dishonesty. It's not prideful or boastful. It operates and delights in truth. Read: 1 Corinthians 13 for a more detailed description of it in God's word.
