Twenty-Five Years Writing

 

25th Anniversary!

 

As I sit here thinking about the time that has passed since that day I was sitting on my couch in the early morning having my quiet time with God. It was peaceful and still. I can still feel the redirection of God involving my writing. I remember sitting in my dining room in the days that followed on my desktop computer typing everything that came to mind about the Lord, Jesus. Often at times the enemy would try to distract me and confuse my thoughts, but I didn't let those intended interruptions cloud my train of thought. Day by day the words kept coming and I was fixed on getting it all on paper. Sixteen pages later I started proof reading, editing and assembling all that I had written and my book "All For Jesus" was completed.

 

I am trying to remember exactly when the next batch started flowing in my mind. I know this much they were on the heels of the completion of the first book. There were nineteen in total and I titled the book "My Everything is Jesus". Next, God expanded my writing into food for thought writing or Food for the Soul I like calling it. I finished it all before I left my last job because I had 5 hard copies made. Time passed and I lost my dad, and my life took a sudden turn two years afterwards. My mind was all over the place so my writing sorta sat for the next decade. I kept being drawn to  do something with all I had written. I even tried but I was limited in resources, finances, and personal matters had me my attention strained. That was then and this now!

I am no longer letting things deter me. God is leading, directing and providing. I will not get ahead of Him though. We mess things up when we run too fast and not patient. All I aim to do is continue to spread His Word as He has commissioned me to do and encourage others to think about their destiny and the hereafter. This earth is not eternal. There will be a new Heaven and Earth and the things that we encounter and have to deal with in this life we will not have to in the hereafter with God. He is going to restore things back to its original state before sin entered. Sin has corrupted this world which is why you see all sorts of things transpiring and they have been for centuries: Violence, sickness, imprisonment, poverty, hate, evil, etc.

 

The Good News is if you have fallen prey to the schemes of the enemy, involved in or going through something that is keeping you in bondage God can deliver you from it. He can save and preserve your life until He comes to receive your soul to go to the place He has prepared for you when you transition from this earth. God loves you. He willingly died for your sin. (Romans 5:8) The Bible says the wages of sin is death. Everyone who dies without payment for their sin will have to pay the price themselves.

 

Jesus made restitution for our sin and the Gift of forgiveness and Grace can be ours upon admitting to God that we have sinned and asking for help in going forth on the right path. God already knows about our sin He is just waiting for us to acknowledge it and accept the pardon that only He can give that cleans us of all unrighteousness. There is nothing we can boast about or do to make ourselves worthy in God's eyes other than accepting the gift of forgiveness and life which Jesus paid the price for with His own life.

 

(Ephesians 2:8-9) Faith has to come into play. Do you believe that Jesus died for your sin? Do you believe that He willingly came on our behalf so that we could have a second chance at life, not this life but the life after we transition from here? Do you believe that He is who He says He is? There is just no two ways about it. The enemy wants you to be confused. Do not listen to those opposing voices to the truth. This is something no other human being can do for you. It is between you and the Father. Believers can only share messages. It is what the reader or listener does with that information that hinges on where they will spend eternity. I pray that those who don't know the one and only True, living God will seek Him while time is left and receive His Word as Truth that states Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the life and no man comes to the Father but through Him. (John 14:6) He bridges the gap and reconnects us to the Father in Heaven. HE is the One and Only Mediator. Once we believe our relationship with God is no longer broken and access to the Father in Heaven is granted. 

I say what I say never to force or coerce anyone to believe anything they do not want. I am only sharing in love because the decision is yours, God doesn't force anyone to receive or believe in Him against their will. I share in love because I care and because I am suppose to because God has commissioned believers to share the Gospel. I am a vessel He is using to spread the message of Salvation through Christ Jesus. I am a seed planter. 

Note: I am included in that number that scriptures speaks of when it says "All" have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. I am only saved by Grace through Faith and not because of who I am, it is a GIFT from God. (Ephesians 2:8-9) The Gift is not received because of anything you or I work for because Salvation is not the result of works. It is a gift to be received from the Father that hinges only on Faith alone.
