My Very First Book Promotion

I remember May 20, 2006 and being nervously excited about the promotion of my first book of Poetry. I know it was the leading of God to be bold enough to let my voice be heard in regard to how I feel about the Lord and my love for Him. I never considered myself as an overly bold person. I would describe myself leaning more toward the timid side but God was changing all that. It was almost like I knew there would be more to come in the realm of Poetry that is. What I didn't see coming was the level God was taking me to as far as sharing the Gospel. It was not only about Jesus being who He is but the result of following His word and trusting and believing in him and being a witness of the result of faith and prayer.

Around 2007 beyond the poetry I would just write as God placed it upon my heart. I remember days of being awaken and turning over and around to my laptop rushing to type all that was in my mind before it would leave so I thought. Some days breakfast would be late for me as well as knocking off things on my to do list for the day. All that was important to me in that moment was getting on paper what was in my thoughts.
